This publication explores the work in progress of Berlin-based Danish painter Christian Thomsen (FJORSK), bringing together materials from the early stages of a painting. It features artist sketches, references, scans, and pressed-flat residue—fragments from an ongoing novel tracing ambient threat, pleasure-seeking, concealment, and the social performance of survival. More a marginalia of the nervous system than a catalogue, the publication unfolds as a collection of evidence shaped by contemporary life.
